We are located on beautiful Catalina Island and have daily trips availble leaving from Avalon. Since the island is in the Pacific Ocean 26 miles off Southern California, we are in a great spot for a wide variety of game fish. But you have to know where the big ones are, what rigs to throw at them and the right gear. If you do, it might just be your ultimate fishing experience. We catch white sea bass, yellowtail, tuna, marlin and an abundance of smaller game fish.

About the Vessel

Fishin' Funatics is a 37' US Navy Patrol Vessel that has been converted to fish offshore or just off the island. With more room to fish on deck than other boats here on the island, Fishin' Funatics has everything you need to help you catch that trophy fish and make your day out on the water a trip to remember.

With four bunks, a stand-up head below, and plenty of seating on deck, Fishin' Funatics is a comfortable vessel to spend the day on. She also has a 150 quart ice chest to keep those fillets nice and cold as well as outriggers, downriggers, huge bait holding capacity and we use quality penn Reels. north star chart-plotter and a furuno 295 fish finder and airmar 270 transducer will help put you right on the fish.
